So, my poor bookstore lady was left without any assistance this morning, so she was the only one to watch the shop and receive. Needless to say, receiving had to be put on the back burner in favor of making sure the merchandise didn't wander away. So when her help came in, I was finally able to procure the stuff. And my, what good stuff we have.

We start with TRC. I can honestly say that there is nothing about this chapter with which I'm disappointed. Whoever guessed that the trend of splash pages would continue and we'd have a Kuro/Fay-like page this week was 100% spot on. Not only Kuro and Fay, it's in color. Hells yes, thank you. Then we have Chii making sure Fay knows Ashura's awake and then he goes back to consoling Sakura. Those two have angst like whoa. Seriously. And Sakura is so serious, it's almost like she's not Sakura anymore. And my goodness she has a gorgeous clavicle. Maybe I'm the only one who appreciates that though... Ahem. We move on to Kurogane, Syaoran, and Mokona. Poor Syaoran is just an easy a drunk as the other Syaoran. The kid just can't seem hold his liquor. Mokona laughs at him about it too. It's cute. Then Syaoran wakes up a little bit, and Kuro-daddy pets his face and tells him to go back to sleep. Then Mokona gets told to go to sleep and Mokona asks about Kurogane. Nah. He's still got some more Royal Crown left to drink (such an alcoholic). Mokona is so precious and makes the note that as long as Kurogane's awake, everbody's okay. She gets poofed into the sofa for it (so cute!) and then we have them snoozing, and Kurogane observing the door to where Fay and Sakura are most likely still angsting with each other.

Move on to xxxHolic (how I've missed you!). We've got the scary house chick trying to throw the little bells back at Yuuko, since they seem to not be working well enough, but Yuuko just gives her more bells. Quantity v. Quality? I'm sure we'll find out. Then we get Haruka-jii-sama again! <3333 I love him so much. Okay. So he's very affectionate with Watanuki for a minute, then they talk about stuff and the chick with the house and the bells. Jii-sama looks all contemplative about the bells part. Then whisk! We're at the chick's house. How's about that. Grandpa's a peeping tom. Who knew. Watanuki feels weird about it, but since it's only a dream, he's got to try and disregard that he's in a girl's bedroom while she's sleeping. So she's wakes up from a weird dream, and then the bells go all crazy and stuff. And then. Then there's someone coming through her door. Egads.
